The 2010 Gainesville Gladiators Unity Council is being formed so that our players can bring new ideas to the table for us as an organization.  The Panel will also be in charge of determining player discipline ranging from missed practices to other minor infractions. The Panel will also handle small details ranging from player attire to selecting representatives from the team for social events.   From past experience, our organization felt that players bringing fresh, new ideas to us without fear of being shot down was important.  It also brings upon a sense of leadership from players on the panel.  We expect more from the Players Panel as leaders of our team and we look forward to great things out of these guys.  T  Players can lose their spots due to incompetence.
2010 Gladiators Unity Council
Jonathan Baxter:  QB

Jonathan is one of the young bright up and coming players for the new look 2010 Gainesville Gladiators.  He has worked hard since day 1 and has found himself in the starting QB spot.  Jonathan played his high school football at Jackson County H.S. and hails from Jefferson, Ga.
Chris Davis:  LB/OL

Chris is a first year Gladiator and brings a lot of wisdom for the youth of the team.  He is playing football for the first time in many years but has worked hard since the first tryout and has worked himself into a significant role as a team player.  Chris brings lots of good ideas to the table and will always give his opinion on the situation.  Chris is originally from Ohio.
Wes Miller:  TE/DE

Wes is another one of the Gladiators that hasn't seen the football field in many years but that hasn't stopped him from becoming a huge part of the Gladiators early success.  At 6'8",  Wes played collegiate football at Kent State University.   He uses his height and leverage to gain position and his basketball skills to go get the football in the air.  Wes brings plenty to the table for the Unity Council.
Chris Orencia:  S

Chris is a former Habersham Central Raider.  He has quickly stepped into a leadership role for the Gladiators and has been a pleasant surprise on the football field.  His hard work and consistency at making practice and team functions made him an easy choice for the Gladiators Unity Counci.
